Space the final frontier….

Space the final frontier…. My second attempt at shooting the North American Nebula (NGC 7000). This time capturing the complete structure of the Northern American nebula plus the neighbouring Pelican Nebula (IC 5070), two massive, connected emission nebulae in the constellation Cygnus. Both regions feature active stellar nurseries. Very happy with the results. This time using an Astro Mosaic, two different sections of the night sky photographed over the course of 4 hours, then stitching the two photos together in photoshop to create one large image. Fighting cloudy conditions and dew, it is incredible what this little telescope can pull in. Dwarf Lab 3: Bortle 5 sky, duo band filter, 60s subs, gain 90~ 4 hours, processed in stellar studio.
