Andromeda's M31 - Queen of Astronomy Season

Every Autumn (up north), I become possessed and obsessed once again with Astronomy Season's kick-off Queen Deep-Sky Object, simply known as M31. Our largest and brightest galactic neighbor, and evidently on a collision course with our own Milky Way galaxy; hopefully, our distant descendants, 4.5 billion years from now, will have a front-row seat to the show! But this year I have something new, or rather, something newly gathered: Almost 50 hours of DWARF mini exposures at 60sec and gain 60, captured with both the DuoBand & Astro filters. Yes, that is a LOT of DATA. So much data that I leveraged a few additional tools to stack it! If you're interested in reading and seeing more about this queen of the night, and the steps I took to make my shot, check out my newsletter at DwarfVision - pour a coffee, and pull up a chair; it's deep!
