M32

That small glowing ball in the circle is M32, a dwarf galaxy orbiting the Andromeda Galaxy, 2.5 million light-years away. It's tiny next to its giant neighbour, but it still contains hundreds of millions of stars. Scientists think M32 may once have been a much bigger galaxy that Andromeda stripped down over billions of years. Space is not a peaceful place 👀 And I captured all of this from my own garden in light-polluted Rotterdam 🇳🇱 Did you know Andromeda had moons of its own? 👇 📸 DWARFLAB smart telescope 📍 Rotterdam, the Netherlands
