North America Nebula

This is a mosaic shot with a Dwarf Mini from Los Angeles using 120 sec exposures. I also used a 3D printed lens hood I picked up off of Etsy, to help reduce stray light (I think it helps and it's a good Dwarf Mini accessory). This was stacked in Stellar Studio which does a great job with the mosaic, then post processed in SIRIL using the Graxpert and Cosmic Clarity scripts. It was then edited in GIMP to adjust levels and then I used the Veralux Alchemy script to change the colors to something closer to the Hubble palette, and added a few diffraction spikes with the Diffraction Spike overlay script in SIRIL. I have also included the original edit from SIRIL before using the Alchemy and adding diffraction spikes. I think that I can get a better Hubble effect by doing the color separating using the OSC_Extract_HaOIII.ssf script, but the Alchemy script is very easy to use and simple to just try.
