2026-06-07-2322 - SH2-108 - SADR Region - Mosaic

This region sits within the Cygnus complex and is dominated by diffuse hydrogen emission, dark dust lanes, and scattered embedded stars. The mosaic reveals the soft, glowing structure of the nebula surrounded by dense, mottled dust that shapes the contrast across the field. The darker filaments cut through the frame with a textured, almost smoke‑like appearance, while the brighter emission regions form a gentle halo around the central structure. The night offered above average transparency, which helped bring out the faint outer glow of the nebula. Seeing held in the moderate range, roughly 2.7 to 3.0 arcseconds, which kept the stars stable enough for consistent sampling across the mosaic panels. Combined with the naturally darker outskirts of Waynesboro, the conditions supported long‑duration integration without gradients creeping into the field. All frames were stacked and developed in PixInsight, followed by color refinement and levels adjustments in Photoshop.
