The Horsehead & Flame Nebula

🌌 **The Horsehead & Flame Nebula — Captured with my DWARF 3!** 🔭✨ Another night exploring the universe from my backyard here in Arizona! This time, my little **DWARF 3 smart telescope** captured the incredible Horsehead Nebula (Barnard 33) and Flame Nebula (NGC 2024), located near Orion's Belt. The Horsehead is a massive cloud of dark dust silhouetted against glowing hydrogen gas, while the Flame Nebula shows off some beautiful detail in its clouds of gas and dust. Here's the amazing part — we're looking at light that traveled roughly **1,300 years** just to reach us. It still amazes me that something small enough to carry around in one hand can capture objects this far out in space. Not bad for a little telescope! 😎🔭 4 panels of 100 15 second frames. 📸 DWARF 3 Smart Telescope | Jeff Davis Photography
